Including how to unlock accessory slots.

Accessories in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom provide Zelda with additional bonuses - from reducing the amount of damage she can take to increasing her swimming speed.

You'll need to unlock accessory slots, however, if you want to have multiple bonuses active at one time. First, you need to hunt down the accessory locations hidden across the Hyrule in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.

Below, you'll find our accessories locations and bonuses for Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.

On this page:

If you'd like us to continue being your Navi, check out our Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom walkthrough.

There are 28 different accessories in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. Though two of those accessories will replace a couple of accessories you've already obtained in your collection.

Accessories can be earned by completing side quests, finding them in the Hyrule overworld or dungeons, from mini-games or purchasing them from shops. Each accessory will grant Zelda a bonus which will assist you in completing her adventure.

Accessories can be easily equipped by opening the main menu, scrolling to the Equipment tab and visiting their dedicated section. Keep in mind, however, you have to unlock up to five additional accessory slots if you want to increase the amount you can have equipped and we touch upon this further along in the guide.

Below you'll find the locations and bonuses for every accessory in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom in the order they appear in your inventory:

Bonus: Swim Speed Up

Location: The Zora's Flippers can be purchased from the shop in the River Zora Village for 350 Rupees.

Bonus: Dive Time Up

Location: To get the Zora Scale accessory you need to complete the 'The Zora Child's Fate' side quest, which is unlocked after you've completed the Jubal Ruins. This side quest is started by talking to the Zora child in the north-eastern section of River Zora Village.

You then need to enter the house on the left and talk to the Zora you find inside. She wants to look at a number of monsters, so it's Echo making time!

Firstly, she'll want to look at a 'sinister fish'. For this we used a Tangler Echo. Next, she wants a 'monster that goes BOOM' and that's a Bombfish Echo. Now she wants a 'shocking jellyfish monster' so create a Biri Echo in the pond in front of her.

If you're missing any of these monsters, check out our Echo locations list.

After creating this third Echo, the quest will come to a close with a short cutscene and you'll get the Zora Scale accessory.

Bonus: Quicksand-Proof

Location: The Gerudo Sandals can be purchased from the shop in Gerudo Town for 400 Rupees.

Bonus: Makes Zelda windproof, so she'll no longer be pulled into the air by tornadoes.

Location: To get the Gold Sash accessory, you need to complete the 'Wild Sandstorms' side quest which can be found in the room to the left of the throne room in Gerudo Town. This side quest, however, has its own set of requirements - namely completing the Gerudo Sanctum, Jubal Ruins and defeating two Lanmolas.

Lanmolas are the giant centipedes found in the Gerudo Desert either east of Gerudo Town or north of the entrance to Hyrule Field. We recommend wearing the Gerudo Sandals when fighting a Lanmola as this accessory will prevent Zelda from sinking into the quicksand this monster creates.

To defeat a Lanmola, you need to bind onto their tail and then pull backwards until the Lanmola is flipped over. From there, you can attack either using Echoes or the Swordfighter Form.

After you've started 'Wild Sandstorms' by talking to the Gerudo guard, you'll be tasked with defeating a Lanmola. It can be found north of the entrance to Hyrule Field and you definitely want the Gerudo Sandals, because there will be no quicksand-free spot during this fight. This Lanmola will also be assisted by a number of enemies who can break your Bind on its tail, so make sure you're using strong Echoes, like the Lynel, too.

Once the Lanmola is defeated (and you've grabbed the Heart Piece it drops), head back to Gerudo Town and talk to the guard again. You'll then get the Gold Sash during a final cutscene.

Bonus: Wall-Climb Speed Up

Location: The Climbing Band can be purchased from the shop in Kakariko Village for 500 Rupees.

Bonus: Carry Speed Up

Location: To get the Goron Bracelet, you need to complete the 'A Mountainous Mystery' side quest. First, however, you need to complete the Eldin Temple and two other side quests - 'Automaton Engineer Dampé' and 'The Fireworks Artist'.

With these requirements met, you'll be able to start 'A Moutainous Mystery' by talking to Gol in Goron City. He'll send you to the Summit Cave, which can be found east of the volcano summit in the most northerly section of the Eldin Volcano region.

You'll find Darston inside the cave and he'll ask you to defeat the fire giant hidden within the cavern. The proceeding cave is pretty straight forward as you'll have to navigate across lava like you've done multiple times already in Echoes of Wisdom.

The only place where you might get stuck is the final section of the side-scrolling area where you'll have to make your way through a narrow gap while also avoiding some rising lava. We achieved this by using Tweelus Echoes to travel across the lava, standing atop one as the lava rose before making our way out of this area.

Before you head into the final room make sure you heal before fighting the mini-boss. While it is another version of the Seismic Talus from the Suthorn Ruins, it is also on fire which can make the fight difficult for obvious reasons.

At first, the fight will work exactly the same as your fight against the Seismic Talus - grab the purple ball with Bind, pull it free, attack. After a while, however, the mini-boss will become even more on fire and you'll have to cool it down using Water Block Echoes. The trick to do this is to place the Water Blocks on its hands when the boss slams them into the ground or creating water pillars for it to smash itself into. You'll still need to pull the ball free to defeat this flaming Seismic Talus, so make sure you don't set Zelda on fire while doing so. It's also a good idea to use Echoes to give Zelda some height when the ball is located on the Talus' back.

Once the fight is over, you'll be able to grab a Heart Piece and, when returning to Darston, he'll reward you with the Goron Bracelet.

Bonus: Knockback Spin (Lets you knock back enemies when you hit them with a spin.)

Location: The Spin Brace is located in a cave on the eastern side of the Faron Wetlands. You'll know you're in the right place when you find an entranceway with two Deku Scrub head statues standing either side.

Inside you'll find yourself faced with five platforms, each guarded by an Armos. The one you need to get past is the one directly to the left of the entrance. To get past the Armos, you can either trick it into falling down a hole by breaking one of the cracked pathstones or use a Water Block to jump over it as it comes towards you.

After that you need to head to the ladder in the top-right corner of the side scrolling section. At the top of this ladder you'll find yourself fighting a Darknut Lv. 3. This is the strongest Darknut variant, so make sure you use your strongest Echoes against it.

Once the Darknut Lv. 3 has been defeated, you'll be able to collect its Echo and open the chest containing the Spin Brace.

Bonus: Slip Reduction (on ice)

Location: The Ice Spikes can be found in a cave roughly in the middle of the Hebra Mountain region. We reach it by using a Crawltula to climb the cliff right next to the Smoothie Stand on Hebra Mountain and then simply entering the cave.

Upon entering the cave, you'll have to jump up some small ledges and defeat a Tektite Lv. 2 if you choose before entering the next room. Here you will have to defeat the monsters - two Tektike Lv. 2s and three Ice Octos.

A chest will appear once you've defeated the monsters and inside you'll find the Ice Spikes!

Bonus: Jump Height Up

Location: The Frog Ring is hidden away in the Hyrule Castle dungeon. It's sitting inside the chest to the left of the one containing the Big Key, so you can easily grab this accessory just before you tackle the Hyrule Castle boss.

Bonus: Horse Attack Up

Location: To get the Charging Horn, you need to complete the long course of the Flag Races in under 40 seconds at Hyrule Ranch.

If you're having trouble achieving this time, remember to avoid using dash when you go around corners and use the crates to jump over the trees. When you're close to the end of the course set outside of the ranch, use Bind to move a crate in front of a set of potted trees. Doing so will create a shortcut for your horse. (Trust me - it's easier than becoming the course master of the short course for some Might Crystals…)

Bonus: Knockback Reduced

Location: The Stone Anklet can be purchased for the shop in Hyrule Castle Town for 400 Rupees.

Bonus: Winding Speed Up

Location: Trade five Monster Stones with Dampé after creating all of the Automatons.

Bonus: Energy Consumption Reduced lv.1

Location: To get the First Mastery accessory, you need to visit the Slumber Dojo in Kakariko Village. Once there you need to complete at least four of the training sessions on offer to earn the First Mastery. More training will be unlocked as you progress through Echoes of Wisdom, so, if there's not enough sessions available at the moment, return to the Dojo after completing a dungeon or two.

Bonus: Energy Consumption Reduced Lv. 2

Location: Complete eight challenges in the Slumber Dojo of Kakariko Village.

Bonus: Energy Consumption Reduced Lv. 3

Location: Complete 14 challenges in the Slumber Dojo of Kakariko Village.

Bonus: Might Crystal Detection

Location: To get the Might Bell accessory, you need to complete 'The Great Fairy's Request' side quest that begins at Lake Hylia. We unlocked this side quest after upgrading our accessory limit with the Great Fairy three times, leaving and re-entering the cave before opening the chest which had appeared in front of her fountain. (The chest contains a Might Crystal if you're interested!)

After starting the side quest, you need to head to Gerudo Town and talk to the owner of the store. The store owner will need both a Floral Seashell and Magma Stone to create the accessory, so let's go find them.

You need to head to the Sea Zora Village and talk to the shop owner for the Floral Seashell. For some reason, the shop owner wants an Unfortunate Smoothie in exchange for the seashell so, if you don't have one on hand, pop to the nearest Smoothie Stand. Check out our Smoothie Recipe list if you haven't created one yet.

For the Magma Stone, head over to the store in the Goron City of the Eldin Volcano region. He'll explain that Magma Stones can only be found in a cave at the lava lake north of Goron City, which just so happens to be infested with Lizalfos. Guess it's time to kill some monsters…

The cave you want to visit is the Lizalfos Burrow. (Which is actually north-west of Goron City, but who cares…)

Head inside and defeat the Lizalfos inside using whichever means you prefer. Upon their defeat, the store owner will arrive and give you a Magma Stone.

Once you've got both items, head back to the Gerudo Town store owner and talk to her. Afterwards, she'll give you the Lovely Pendant and now it's time to head back to the Great Fairy's cave at Lake Hylia. Talk to the Giant Fairy to receive the Might Bell accessory and bring this side quest to a close.

Bonus: Heart Appearance Up

Location: The Heart Pin is located inside the Suthorn Ruins. You'll be able to find it in the side scrolling section which occurs after you unlock the Swordfighter Form.

To reach the chest containing the Heart Pin, you'll need to Bind Zelda to the massive rock and then move said rock so it's sitting on the ledge above its current location. You will need to climb up the ladder to the opposite ledge and then walk off the ledge to properly place the rock.

Once it's in place, climb up the ladder up to the highest ledge. You'll now be able to drop down onto the big rock and walk across it to reach the chest containing the Heart Pin.

Bonus: Heart Appearance Up

Location: To get the Heart Barrette you need to complete the 'Beetle Ballyhoo' side quest, which is started in Gerudo Town. This quest will become available some time after you've completed the Gerudo Sanctum and you'll start it by talking to the Gerudo woman standing outside of her house, which is located roughly in the middle of Gerudo Town.

She'll ask you to get rid of the four Beetle Mounds inside a cave in the northern region of the Gerudo Desert. You may have already visited this cave to grab the Echoes inside or the Might Crystal in the chest reached by climbing the stairs at its end.

Once there, destroy all of the Beetle Mounds before heading back to Gerudo Town and talking to the quest-giver inside her house. She'll then reward you with the Heart Barrette.

Bonus: Rupee Appearance Up

Location: For the Silver Brooch, you need to visit the River Zora Village. Once there, head to past the lowest set of houses and create a series of Water Block Echoes so you can reach the high ledge.

On this ledge, you'll see a bombable wall and, after destroying it using a Bombfish Echo, you'll find the chest containing the Silver Brooch.

Bonus: Rupee Appearance Up +

Location: To get the Gold Brooch accessory, you need to complete the 'Secret Chief Talks' side quest. First, however, you need to complete the Jubal Ruins and Gerudo Sanctum dungeons. When you're ready, start the side quest by talking to Rogma who is standing on an island outside of the Sea Zora Village.

He'll ask you to talk to Chief Dradd, so head over to the River Zora Village to have a chat. Yet, when you arrive you'll find that Dradd is missing so talk to his assistant Inawa. She doesn't know anything though, but the other River Zora might. Outside, talk to the two River Zora who have speech bubbles about the Zora boss to learn that a Zora called Tellum might know where he's gone.

Tellum can be found east of River Zora Village. Head up to the second level of the village, then go up to the next level of the Zora River directly to its east. From there head to the far eastern side of this little lake and you'll find Tellum standing near his fishing net.

Tellum will tell you that the two chiefs have gone to a cave in Zora Cove. Thankfully, you know this cave quite well as it's where the Sea Zora child got trapped during the 'The Jabul Waters Rift' main quest. Here's a map of its location if you've forgotten where to go:

Head into the cave and talk to the chief to learn the truth about events. With that done you'll finally get the Gold Brooch!

Bonus: Extra Energy Appearance Up (Increases the chance of more energy appearing after defeating dark monsters)

Location: The Energy Glove is located inside a chest in the north-western corner of the Gerudo Desert. You will need to defeat a number of Club Boarblins and Boomerang Boarblins, including their Lv. 2 variants, to reach the chest. Defeating the Lv. 2 variants is required for opening the chest.

Bonus: Extra Energy Appearance Up +

Location: To find the Energy Belt, you need to visit a cave on Hebra Mountain which lies on the level below the icy lake on its peak.

The easiest way to reach it is to head to Condé's igloo and then follow the path southward, dealing with any monsters you encounter. These monsters will include Spear and Sword Moblins Lv. 2, so make sure you have some good Echoes to counter them.

In the top right-hand corner of this area, you'll find a series of ice blocks barring your way down a path. Melt these blocks and then head down the path until you reach the cave.

You'll find a Sword Moblin Lv. 3 and, after defeating it, a chest containing the Energy Belt will appear.

Bonus: Material Appearance Up (Smoothie ingredients and Monster Stones will appear more frequently when breaking objects or defeating monsters)

Location: To earn the Survey Scope you need to complete the first part of the 'Recipes, Please!' side quest by making 10 different Smoothie recipes. This quest can be started by talking to any Business Scrub running a Smoothie Stand and you can complete it at any stand too.

Check out our Smoothie and Potion recipe list if you'd like help figuring out which Smoothie recipes you can make.

Bonus: Material Appearance Up +

Location: To earn the Survey Binoculars you need to fully complete the 'Recipes, Please!' side quest by making 20 different Smoothie recipes after the first 10 unique recipes. (This means you need to complete 30 unique Smoothie recipes in total.) Like with the Survey Scope, you can complete this quest at any Smoothie Stand you visit.

This accessory will replace the Survey Scope in your accessories collection.

Bonus: Fairy Appearance Up (Fairies may occasionally appear when cutting grass or other plants.)

Location: The Fairy Flower can be found within a cave on the western side of the Eldin Volcano - very close to the border of Hyrule itself. You'll need to climb up a cliffside to reach the ledge where the cave lives, a feat we easily achieved using the Water Block Echo, and then blow up the rocks blocking the cave entrance using a Bombfish Echo.

Once the cave entrance is clear, all you have to do is head into the cave and open the chest inside.

Bonus: Fairy Appearance Up + (Fairies will appear more frequently when cutting grass or other plants.)

Location: To get the Fairy Fragrance accessory you need to complete the 'Looking for Bempu' side quest in the Faron Wetlands. For us, this side quest became available from completing the Faron Temple.

You can start 'Looking for Bempu' by talking to the pair of Deku Scrubs west of the Faron Wetlands Smoothie Stand in Scrubton. With that done you now need to hunt down Bempu in four locations.

Upon reaching Bempu's location, listed below in the order you need to visit them, you'll need to pull the Scrub from the ground using Bind:

The quest will come to a close after you find Bempu that last time and you'll receive the Fairy Fragrance.

Bonus: Damage Reduced

Location: To get the Ancient Charm you need to complete the 'Let's Play a Game' side quest at the Eastern Temple in Eastern Hyrule Field. You'll also earn a Heart Piece during this side quest.

Bonus: Damage Reduced +

Location: The Curious Charm is earned by completing the 'Cotton-Candy Hunt' side quest in the Faron Wetlands. We were able to start this quest after completing the Faron Temple and it starts by talking to a Deku Scrub west of the Smoothie Stand in Scrubton.

Once you've started this side quest, head to the cave in the south-eastern corner of the Faron Wetlands. You'll have to travel through a mini-dungeon and defeat the Eastern Temple boss once more when you encounter it at the end. Doing so will also net you a Heart Piece.

After defeating the boss, talk to the Deku Scrub in Scrubton and they'll give you the Curious Charm. This will bring 'Cotton-Candy Hunt' to end and the Curious Charm will replace the Ancient Charm in your accessories collection.

To unlock additional accessory slots in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, you need to visit the Great Fairy who lives inside the cave sitting in the middle of Lake Hylia.

When talking to her, you'll need to select the 'Make me more stylish!' option if you want to unlock additional accessory slots. You'll also need an awful lot of Rupees, because the Great Fairy does not offer her services for free.

Here's how much you'll need for each accessory slot:

Once you've paid that final 1000 Rupees, you'll have unlocked all of the accessory slots. This means you need a total of 2400 Rupees to unlock all of the accessories.

Best of luck collecting all of the accessories and, if you'd like more help in Hyrule, visit our Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom walkthrough!
